While pursuing his Master's degree in Architecture, Trevor did a summer internship with the National Park Service. He worked on drawings of the Kennecott Copper Mill for the Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS).
SpaceCamp projects in the early years included a dovetail log barn in Stephens, GA, a porch on a lake house in Brackney, PA as well as various projects on the campus of the Boulder Outdoor Survival School (BOSS) in Boulder, UT. Trevor remains an apprentice instructor at BOSS.
SpaceCamp has also designed a new construction single family home being built in Port Angeles, WA along the Olympic Discovery Trail.
SpaceCamp has even worked on international projects. In 2019, Trevor Jones designed a home which was built in Todos Santos, Baja Sur, Mexico.
SpaceCamp now works primarily in the Monterey Bay Area, but occasionally still engages with the wanderlust that formed the studio in the "early years." We are currently providing design and construction management services on a complete home renovation in Yucca Valley, CA.
